Justin Doll (Chief of Police, Ret.) is an experienced search consultant who has managed both municipal and university police executive searches. Justin joined PSSC after serving as Chief of Police in Anchorage, Alaska for several years. Under his leadership, the 600-person department saw an increase in recruitment and retention of talented individuals and a significant reduction in crime in nearly every category. He was known as an influential, dynamic, and results-oriented Senior Executive with extensive experience in government and public safety who focused on success through collaboration with key stakeholders at all levels. Throughout his 25-year career, Justin excelled in various technical and leadership roles. During his tenure as the APD chief of police, he served as Chair of the Alaska Police Standards Council, an entity comprised of law enforcement executives and members of the public, who were responsible for enforcing the high standards expected of law enforcement officers across the state.
Justin earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Alaska, Southeast and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. In addition, he is a graduate of the FBI National Executive Institute and the FBI National Academy. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps before his law enforcement career.
